Tom Watts-Jones, Head Chef
I grew up in Aberthin, and spent many a sunny afternoon playing in the garden of the Hare & Hounds as a child. Training as a chef, I have spent seven years working in some of the most interesting restaurants in London, including the award winning Anchor & Hope and the Michelin starred St. John. Having learned my trade, I’ve returned to the pub in which I had my first pint to fulfill my dream of opening my own restaurant, and to cook with some of the best ingredients.

I spent the previous eight years running another local pub, winning it the CAMRA award ‘Pub of the Year’ for Bridgend and the Vale of Glamorgan. I run the bar and restaurant with my vast knowledge of craft beers, great lagers and fine wines.
